All season salad mix vinaigrette with 'pop-corn' sunflower seeds
Ingredients (for 4pax)
- 50g Grune sunflower microgreens
- 50g Pea sprouts
- 50g Grune radish microgreens
- 10pcs Cherry tomatoes
- 1 medium size red onion (if you like the onion sweetness, use a large onion)
- 1 handful of organic Sunflower seeds (you can these from your supermarket)
- 3 table spoons on Balsamic vinegar
- 5 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 table spoon of red wine vinegar
- Sea/ Himalaya salt
- Brown sugar/ honey
- White/black pepper. Use a pepper grinder instead of the pepper powder.
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 clove of garlic (optional)
- 1 chilly paid (optional. it won’t be nice without this)
- 100 g chicken meat (baked)
Preparing
1. Wash all your greens (follow our
FAQ) and remove the excessive
water from the green (Use a salad
spinner if you have).
2. Julienne onion, garlic, and chilly.3. Halve the cherry tomatoes4. 2 hard-boiled eggs and halve
them.5. Baked chicken/ meat of your
choice in aluminum wrapper for 1
hour at 180 celcius. 6. Pop corn organic sunflower seeds:
-Heat up a frying pan to medium
for 2 minutes.
-Add the organic sunflower seed
to the pan
-Increase the heat to high and
stir it constantly with a spoon
to avoid burning.
-You willl hear the seeds
popping, then turn the heat to
medium.
-Once most of the seeds stop
popping, remove it from the pan
to cool in a bowl. 7. Slice chicken/ meat of your
choices and add to your salad.8. Put all the greens, onions, cherry
tomatoes, garlic, eggs, chilly into a
salad bowl and leave it in your
fridge to chill. This dish is best
served chill. Enjoy!!!
